I can see that. And allows for the least amount of disruption.

Damn lucky we can slot frost in and I think we’ll be ok. Let’s see how they handle the adversity here. As I said, I expect that hart will factor in big to get them through

I guess this works. Still have the option to put Laughton there if Frost struggles.

I want them to keep the Hayes and Patrick lines in tact, so that is good.

Seems to be the plan. Also bunny 13th man. Which makes sense with his versatility for the road trip.

I just love this!

Charlie O’Conner tweeted:

“AV says he views the Flyers top three lines not as first line, second line, third line, but as 1A/1B/1C.”

All three have skill and youth....so far they all look to have some chemistry which hopefully grows with some more practice and games.

How about:

Lindblom - Hayes - TK
Frost - G - Jake
JVR - Patrick - Farabee
Raffl - Laughton - NAK

That’s how they lined up in practice. Carchidi reports that AV said he’s considered putting G back at center, but wants to see how Frost works out first.

He also said he likes how lines have played so far...why disrupt the other 3 lines if you don’t have too? Lines can change quickly.

I feel like the most logical course of action with the lines is to put Laughton with Lindblom and Konecny, and slide Frost in between Raffl and NAK. Even going so far as to move Raffl to center and play Frost on the wing if need be. At least to start.

This makes for the least amount of disruption, and allows the Patrick and Hayes line to continue to play together and gel.

Hayes line one, Patrick line 2, Laughton line 3, and Frost Line 4.

- MBFlyerfan

The least mount of disruption is putting Frost in Couturier’s place, so the other lines aren’t disrupted at all.

I’d rather keep G on wing. If Frost is going to be a center in the long run, let him start there. I’d put Hayes-Patrick-Frost-Laughton down the middle and break up JVR and Jake on one line. Something like...

Lindblom - Patrick - TK
G - Hayes- Jake
JVR - Frost - Farabee
Raffl - Laughton - NAK

Call line one two or two one.... semantics.

It’s already been confirmed Frost is center Couturier’s line of Lindblom and Konency. I also just saw on Bill’s Twitter that Frost is taking play Couturier’s spot on the PP. Now this is where I disagree with the any changes. Lindblom I think deserves a look on the PP. In fact he’s more than deserving.

Idk what his health / conditioning is like. He plays on the pk now. Idk if they want his minutes getting that high to play all 3 areas. Thats my only explanation I could think of

Looking like the key to the 8 matchups with the Caps will be to stay out of the box...

Not scary. Frost, a rookie with only a few games under his belt... I wish him all the luck, but I think they should have given Patrick first shot at line one. I think his game is closer to Coots than Frost. Besides Patrick has more experience.

Good call about Frosty replacing Couts (1st line or 3rd or whatever you want to call it).

Seems like this could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. If Frost gets going, that would heap great dividends this season. I am keeping my fingers crossed for that. A playmaker deep in the order is a tremendous asset and a bonus.

Give it another hour and Sheldon derails this blog. Isn’t that right little Sheldon ? Somebody disagrees with you so you throw the whole blog into bedlam . And then , which is brilliant you make it seem like everybody else is at fault.

I think they are the most physical team as well with speed. We have seemed to match up well against them the past few years. Just have to keep their heads up.

It is no longer line one, they will not be deployed as the top line
