Hey Ref when a sucker puncher needs a 3d and 4th man in to save him from a lone retaliation does that make them a protected class? Asking for a friend.

I don't know . These games with the fake fan noise seem pretty dull so far.

I would like to see a stat as the season progresses about how teams fare in 3 games in 4 nights. I felt like the Canucks looked flat and listless Saturday with nobody to spark them and I am inclined to say the 3 in 4 was a contributing factor.

I feel like some others have posted that there was very little aggression from the team and them being gassed is a symptom of them always chasing the game. We will see a better effort tonight.

hoglander looked absolutely bagged hte third period of the second oiler game. given how hard theyve run the top 6 these first few games they need more from the bottom half to give the gamebreakers a chance to carry the team

I agree the bottom 6 needs Jake, I don't want to put too much value on Miller but it allows everyone to play where they are slotted. JT Miller is a lot more creative than Jake of course so that will cause the Flames to actually take the top line seriously as a threat to score.

I agree the bottom 6 needs Jake, I don't want to put too much value on Miller but it allows everyone to play where they are slotted. JT Miller is a lot more creative than Jake of course so that will cause the Flames to actually take the top line seriously as a threat to score.

this team is very lucky hoglander has turned out to be the player he is because that lack of depth in the top6 is frightening. as much as id love to dump on jake for being a dud in the top 6 i expected more from sutter roussel and beagle. even macewan doesnt look like he has the same jump when he was trying to make the team a year ago
