last night it felt like the Rangers had 9 thousand powerplays and Lafreniere wasn't on the powerplay, he didn't really get any flow last night, but I thought he was really good in game 2
PP1 plays about 1 and 1/2 minutes of every powerplay as it is |

Who said there was a rush. My opinion is I haven't seen much from in three games, especially with all the hype. I'm not allowed to talk about the 3 games he played?
I think you are reading way too much into what I said. If I said Trouba (frank)ing sucked last night. Does that mean I'm making a judgement about him for the rest of the year? - mdw7413
You are incorrectly assuming that I am talking to you. I'm just responding to your posts. If it were just you, I'd say, "it's just mdw. He's an idiot and a douche bag. No big deal."
I'm ranting because this is the sentiment being spouted by a way too large percentage of the fanbase. |

You are too kind.
I'm just saying I would like to see more out of Laf than I have seen the 1st 3 games. I don't think thats controversial. |

More of a reason to get Strome off of the powerplay |

How many of them have 9 players on entry level contracts??? - Tonybere
Devils have 7 and are the second youngest team. if we're playing that game. I'm not saying there isn't merit to your point but facts |

Thats fine, I disagree. Not sure why I can't have an opinion about the 3 games he played without getting labeled as calling him a bust or that he isn't good? - mdw7413
I don't read your comments as calling him a bust, but there have been others that have said "I don't see the elite talent he was supposed to have."
I would argue that things he's doing, the little things, are what makes him "elite". How often do you hear about rookies, especially 19yos, filling in gaps, backchecking, supporting the defense? The offensive aspect of the game is no doubt in my mind on the way.
I get what you're saying though. He hasn't dipsey doodled much, or ripped a wrister bar down yet. The elite things he's doing are rarely on camera or get attention. |

And we got 50 shots on them and lost by a goal. How are we not stacking up against the other inexperienced teams?
"Facts" is that anyone who thought we would not experience growing pains this season is dumb. |

Yep. The only players I can think of that showed so much comfort at the extreme beginning of the career recently are the likes of Matthews, McDavid, Marner, Makar,...
And Marner and McDavid at least, were awful defensively.
So, how is he not elite? |

Yeah I mean thats why I said he might be concentrating on other aspects of his game.

They’re not close on anything but I have it on good authority that the Sabres have spoken to a handful of teams about goaltending in the last 72 hours

One more thing... Jacques Martin was the one who advocated for the Jack Johnson signing and has a *big* say in what the pairs look like. I can confidently say the decision to play JJ isn't a DQ-only decision. It may be more Martin's call than anyone, actually. |

Can you get a longer code next time? Holy (frank)!
Would love to see Laf with Zib. Depending on what happened with Zib though, that might not be happening. |

Not in this house, it's like a rotten onion of layers (paneling, sheetrock, ceiling tiles, more sheetrock). I am also trying to not make a massive mess. Doing it methodically. |

If JJ aint coming out,Move Smith to the 4th line, put Tony back in. Anyone playing like poop can be replaced by Smith that game. Its so simple |

Demo is the best part though. You just need 4 tools. Sledgehammer, sawz-all, pry bar and a poop load of caffeine. |

Normally yes but every other room on this floor is finished, need to take a gentler approach so I don't put a sledge through my daughter's wall. |
