Leave it to the professionals? What kind of stupid idea is that? Good Lord! Leave it to the professionals he says....... - mohel
Well in actuality I know much more than the so called professionals but I’d rather not give up my job flipping burgers than take on a multi million dollar job coaching or working in sports management. |

Warren Foegele, Jordan Martinook, Jaccob Slavin and Teuvo Teravainen have joined #hurricanes teammate Jordan Staal on the NHL's COVID Protocol list today.
Hence the postponement of tonight's Carolina-Nashville game. |

Incorrect. They should be able to trade a few vets without taking on more salary than they trade.
And...they will still be bad next year, but better than this year if Dach and Toews are available. - mohel
which vet? and if we take back the same size contract what young asset is returned? murph is the only one I think returns anything of value without a bad contract coming back.

Just visited the Commited Indians site. They have an article posted about today being the 30 year anniversary of the 1991 All Star game at the old barn. Some videos included there. Surprised the place didn't burn down during the anthem. - boilermaker100
Not a political commentary, but the start of was Desert Storm was 30 years ago. Lots of very quiet reminiscences this week. |

People will still be using the Kimmo Timmonen example on the board in 2050 that teams will give up anything at the TDL. |

Hagel replaces Highmore and I am left wondering why? I can think of a couple of other to replace. Like Carpenter and the Invisible mark. |

Some sports management professional would rather go back to flipping burgers after harassing women sports writers, including sending pictures of their penises.
Is there any thought process there? |

So they throw Delia out for 2 games in a row, then instead of giving Subban a couple games in a row, they go to Lankinen? - BetweenTheDots
Why not? Subban isn't a mystery. He has been around for a few years on many teams. Let's see what Lanky can do.
Not imitating an Olympic swimmer would be an improvement at this point. |

Makes me think that the goalie "competition" is between Delia and Lankinen to rotate with Subban...maybe...kinda sort of...

Or they are aware that Subban doesn't have what it takes to be a starter and are hoping one of Lanky/Delia can be at some point.
It's a lost season. May as well find out what you got. |

Strome, Murphy, de Haan should get a decent return. Not #1's, but decent. |

God gave man a brain and a penis - but only enough blood to operate one at a time.

They all would have more value if they only had a year left on their contracts. It's the way it works these days.

Are you going to trade Strome? Are you sure Toews is coming back? You need someone on the team that can complete a pass besides Kane.

Probably the case for de Haan, but not so sure about Murphy (3.85) and Strome (3.0) for one more year. Depends on the team, imo. |
