Are you going to trade Strome? Are you sure Toews is coming back? You need someone on the team that can complete a pass besides Kane. - LAHawk
I would. It doesn't matter if he's the absolute best player on the team right now. If I don't see him as a Top Six forward on a very good team (and I don't), then off he goes to the highest bidder. If they think he is, then he should stay. |

Strome, Murphy, de Haan should get a decent return. Not #1's, but decent. - mohel
Murphy and deHaan, ok.
But if you won’t get any better than a 2nd or 3rd for Strome - he’s worth that to the Hawks, I think, at only 24 in March. |

See my response to your earlier post - you’re not likely to get a top-6 with a 2nd or 3rd round pick - might as well keep Strome.
Now if they’ve identified a potential top-6 prospect that some other team has soured on, ok - but Bowman et.al haven’t done so well in that in the past. |

I don't think guys get much quicker and faster. He's known he needs to for awhile, I'm sure, but he hasn't been able to. It is becoming more of a speed league, imo, and I don't think he'll be able to keep up. I could easily be wrong. I hope I am, because it is one less slot to fill down the road. |

I don't think you keep anyone who you don't think fits down the road. Better to take a shot at a pick if you really don't believe he fits. |

Some sports management professional would rather go back to flipping burgers after harassing women sports writers, including sending pictures of their penises.
Is there any thought process there? - StLBravesFan
Well I’ve heard some men have been accused of thinking with them.
Not me of course!!! |

Yea there's no room for a player who can steal a puck from Hedman and set up Kurashev for a great shot. |

Boqvist back with Keith. This should be fun. They at least played decently together last year. Let's go get 'em. |

I'm actually impressed with him thus far. He's played well, and improved on a lot of the areas where he was previously lacking. I'm hoping he keeps it up and is more consistent. |

I have been to, my comment wasn't directed at you so to speak, it's a long season though, we have him for 2 years hell let's see if he can become a Tavares type player |

Looks Boqvist has decided (frank) this im staying in front of the goalie if i don't have the puck
Hmmm wasn't that a penalty, i guess not clean play by Gudas, they usually call holding on us |

Why not try to keep between Hornquist and the goalie - even short handed?
Well on their way to another 5er. |

I hope he becomes Crosby. But, I am happy if he plays well; the Hawks can get more in trade for the turtle. |

You got a team that can't even identify a forward behind them. Disgusting |

I like to see him playing aggressively. A bunch of these forwards can learn from Shaw, who plays like an alpha male. They need more alphas. |

From his first game, Shaw has always played with his nose over the puck giving it his all. He’s done some crazy stuff that makes you want to pull out your hair but man he’s all heart. It’s a shame bigger guys didn’t play half as hard |

I think Kurashev as already picked up on that a bit. Like I said before, Strome has played well thus far. I really wish, especially with his size, that he would park in front of the goalie more often. We still have too many guys that just do fly-bys. I'm hoping that Soderberg leads by example in that aspect when he finally gets in. |
