I like to see him playing aggressively. A bunch of these forwards can learn from Shaw, who plays like an alpha male. They need more alphas. - mohel
I know I'm in the minority about this but this is exactly why I hope Kane is never the team captain. When the going gets tough he just floats and pouts. He has the talent and skill to always get his points but he's no leader I'd want. Looks like he's half awake with no effort at all. |

From his first game, Shaw has always played with his nose over the puck giving it his all. He’s done some crazy stuff that makes you want to pull out your hair but man he’s all heart. It’s a shame bigger guys didn’t play half as hard - paulr
Agree. He also seems to decide what he's going to do very quickly, and then goes at full rpm without hesitation. If he's wrong, he's wrong, but he goes. |

Maybe. I don't care much about the Cs or As, I just want to see some more progress. I've really liked what most of the kids have done. (although Boqvist would do well to respect opponents' speed a bit more).
I actually really like Suter playing with Kane and ADB. He's really good at reading plays on both ends and is rarely out of place. With those two wingers that is paramount. |

I wish they'd take debrincat off that line and play him at right wing on another like. Maybe swap him and kubalik. Kubalik played well with Kane and Toews in the few games he did last year. |

Alright, I'll stop talking about Strome. Clearly bad things happen when I do. |

That's why you see what you got after 250 games.
Looks like Boqvist losing ice time because he decided to stay in front his own goalie |

I like that concept as well, but both have had success. I think the first unit creates more risk for itself, but ADB has a hot shot right now, so they ride it out. |

Yeah, the more I watch him, the more I think he'll be sat (or sent) down soon. Mitchell is currently a better D-man in all facets (as he should be - he's older and has more overall experience), and they have several other options to audition. Not giving up on him, but he's not currently grasping what needs to be done. |

That is exactly why he should have stayed in Rockford for the entire year, maybe bring him up for the Edmonton series to get some playoff experience. The front office did this kid wrong last year. |

We are not always aligned GP, but I agree with you here. Suter between Kane and Kubalik is the way to go. |

Worth a try anyway. Kane and Debrincat don't work unless on the PP. |

We’re obviously in for a rough season/few years ahead, but I will never, NEVER, get sick of watching 88 put the puck in the net.
Hopefully we still have plenty of years ahead of that. |

Still one of the best in the business. I see him being one of those rare players that remains elite well into his late 30s. He’s special. |
