You insinuated to another poster that expectations of Giroux are not right and the reason you gave is his skating. His skating is not an issue in any way. In fact, his skating stood out to me. He seemed very quick.

He's not playing great but he's skating very well.

Flyers way to slow in general. As we saw they were hemd in their own zone for the most part in the playoffs, by 2 faster teams in Habs and Isles

He has three assist in three games, he's plus two and when he's on the ice they're controlling the play more so than not, what are your expectations of a 33 year old player who was never quick to begin with but is even slower now?

Speaking of Aube-Kubel. As a young, energy fourth line player, I’m happy with him. As a physical presence, I’m so disappointed in him. Maybe I was expected too much but I was hoping to see more hits from him or being allowed to stir the pot. I think that’s what the line up is missing.
