And Loui played played 49 games last year but you considered him dead money . Can't pick and chose when it works and when it doesn't .
Marc Staal was traded this year because he was a waste of cap space , otherwise they would have not given up a second round pick to move him. - VANTEL
Last time I checked, last season and this season are different seasons... Stall is playing this season, LE isn't. #narratives |

It never fails how after a big loss the sky is falling death knolls are bellowed.
So, is the team firing on all cylinders and falling short because they aren't good enough?
Is the coaching staff telling them to gift the puck away for break-aways?
Will QH, Petey, Schmidt etc continue to make giant gaffes because their hockey IQ is lacking?
Well if you answered yes congrats you are a hater and this must be nirvana for you. If then no, then perhaps the sun will rise on a new game and this season will unfold with less tears. - NuckUp
Fair. And “no” to your contrived questions.
What was so concerning was not that they lost. That happens, particularly with starters injured. What was so concerning & disappointing is that they looked very, very lost while doing so.
I would like them to play through & out of it and I’m hoping for a better effort on the weekend and into the next series. They might still lose, but that’s tolerable (as a fan) as long as there is progress. If it continues to be *so* bad, changing something may be needed and the coach is usually the easiest and most effective “part” to change.

Ok so when Loui plays in the next few games we can remove his salary off the wasted money list. He will no longer be considered a bust
- VANTEL
Yes, obviously, if they're playing him he's not "buried salary". |

Team is really missing LE's calming presence on the ice and bench.
Bench Gaudette and Roussel and Beagle.
Michaelis and Zac Mac and LE in. Softer, tougher, younger. |

Not really worried about the club in general just the Holtby/Demko combo hasn't looked up to snuff. I have a feeling they will get it together. I still think that some of it has to do with Green being a bit disgruntled not being offered a contract after the PO run last season. IMO. - LordHumungous
Anything that could go wrong ... has.
The team has sucked except for Bo JTM and BB. I am not worried at all. If it continues there will be changes.

You know Pettersson will come out of the funk sooner or later, he's just too talented not to. As for Hughes, he's pressing too much, it doesn't help when his D partner pinches or rushes at the same time he does |

You can pass the puck faster than you can skate with it. They should be practice doing a one touch passing drill. Pass and move. pass and move. |

It is just a matter of time . No panic.
It is fun though.
I watched two periods last night and said "That's enough".

No idea, I didn't think they'd have the balls to waive him in the first place. If the injuries keep coming, they'll probably play him, until then, he's dead cap space.
Green kinda puts guys in his crosshairs, like Baertschi, if he thinks you're not what the culture of the team should be, regardless whether or not you could help, he doesn't want anything to do with you. |

They should give Beagle, Sutter and Gaudette a pail to carry the puck in as they can't seem to do it for more than one and a half strides with it on their sticks |

He should be playing, he would change the game so much in the 12 minutes TG would play him. |

It's not fun when it's 7-3, when it's 6-5, sure, you're in it. Blowouts are hard to watch though. |

For the record I think even though Loui did play 49 games last year it was still a waste of cap space. I would like to see them fix that this year.
I hope Benning has the balls not to give Travis that option of wanting to play Loui. Keep him off the roster send him to Utica.

Needs to fit the narrative, quit challenging people to think and confirm that you will conform to the echo chamber. |

Man I feel bad for the guy, he looked very nervous last night. At least this likely means Edler is coming back. |

You should read the Flyers thread, they're in first place in their division and the guys over there are beside themselves complaining about the team |
