My honest feeling was the student surpassed the teacher last year and it was time to upgrade the coaching. Green had a good playoff. So I thought take a look. I do think the entire coaching needs to be upgraded but I am not front of the line to burn them at the stake.

that's good news/bad news. good news is that it's better that he's not in the lineup the way he's been playing.

bad news is that he really needs games to shake the rust off. he's not as bad as he's been playing and needs minutes accumulated with the new team to play to his level.

based on nothing, i'd bet that not being in tip top shape contributed to the injury.

Exactly right good news bad news. If Hamonic was still making the goof ups in a month then it's a problem. I don't want to see Edler injured but I do want to see how OJ and Briesbois look as regulars .

Pre-season and a lack of exhibitions is surely a part of it, but also, the lack of give in today's rinks and the extremely hard, titanium like, hockey equipment has more to do with it than those you mention. IMO.
