That powerplay was terrible they were making soft passes so far its been good 2 games and bad 2 games. Again if this pp can be good teams can't take liberties on scoring chances like in the past |

Agreed because they typically win the 5v5 game against most teams. |

That caps series where they went 0 for the series was a perfect example, caps would kill em if they got a chance cause the pp was awful. I also think they are comfortable in trotz system and now can play on offense a bit more, more open as they know where to be on d |

100%
Sorokin has earned not playing until he absolutely has too no matter what the excuses are. He’ll have his chance. |

It's not just that. Varly has given up one goal in 3 games. Let him keep going. I am interested in seeing Sorokin play again by why mess with something that's working.

I got your point and was agreeing with it just adding on the fact that Sorokin hasn’t exactly played himself into the rotation anyway (even if Varly was playing mediocre) unless, like I said, it’s absolutely necessary. Varlamov has been excellent since the playoffs last year and that’s coming from me who has never been a fan of his. He has been fantastic. I’m honestly not even curious about Sorokin anymore. I get it with the whole just thrown in the game, surprise start, etc but he was that bad

Dubois is obviously a talented player who could bring a lot to whatever team he ends up on. With that said I can’t believe that shift last night. Honestly I wouldn’t want the (frank)ing guy on my team. Not a real good representation of ones character. Wow. |

Hopefully (for his sake) he responds well after such a poop showing. |

Yes Sorokin was horrible. But if he is going to be dressed as the backup then he has to be ready to go in at a moments notice. I think they should try to get him a start soon and see what happens. If he looks like crap again then pull him and put Varly in. I'd like that to happen soon, but Varly is hot right now so they need to stick with him until he cools off or gets tired. |

I’m not against playing him don’t get me wrong but there’s no way you don’t stick with playing varlamov right now and yeah Sorokin has to be ready to go. |
