If there's a "next Victor Hedman" then Moritz Seider would be a prime candidate. Huge stature, physical, skates well, gifted offensively, solid defensively.
In all of the Hogs-Griffins games last season, Seider was by far one of the best players (if not the best) in each game.
Many laughed at the Wings for drafting him 6th overall in 2019 but the Wings may have a great one to be their #1 defenseman. - Theo Fox
they are going to pair him with Owen Power next season. |

Lankinen looking very sharp early on. |

My sense from canvassing sources tonight, Columbus is closing in on a trade involving Pierre Luc Dubois. It’s a complicated process that could be resolved as early as tomorrow. Teams have been told they’re out. Hard to say who’s in, but it’s believed Winnipeg is among them.
Pierre LeBrun speculates that Laine and Roslovic are to be in the deal for Dubois. - Theo Fox
We'll see, peg is a small market

Was that 5 on 5 sustained pressure by Blackhawks, holy crap, nice job by Hagel. Is it really that hard to identify talent |

Well, it worked. Not sure if that is a help or hurt since they are already 2nd in the league. Might have been because some of the guys on the first unit were gassed? |

Nice to get a bounce to get a lead.

Strome is really good I don’t know why everyone want to get rid of him. He always makes a good play with the puck, I think his foot speed issue is overstated. |

He's becoming quite the table setter isn't he, gave 8 a fantastic chance. |

He did, he dishes out multiple opportunities like that every game it feels like. Maybe he’s not great on the defensive end but I think he’s a high end offensive iq. |

What i recognize is if he's paired with Kane and Cat he actually plays back like AA did with Kane and Panarin, if he's with others he's more aggressive. If there's sustained pressure in our own end he plays closer to the front of the goalie in the defensive end. I think he's been solid |

Does it seem like our veteran players are the ones with no discipline this season, sheesh Kane |

I don't blame Kane, Wes McCauley is an a$$wipe. He (and all of the refs) is part of the reason the league doesn't have a TV contract.

Yeah true now that you mention it he does seem to play a bit more tentative with Kane and Cat. I think getting him away from those guys is working better. |

I love me a defenseman with soft hands and he definitely can thread the needle |

Mitchell is the only Hawk completing most of his passes - the others keep hitting Wing skates and sticks. |
