Drouin never asked to come here at first. Dubois does which is two different things. BOth are different kind of players. - MONSTERSofMETALZ

I'm sure the latest episode of Radio Quebec can wait - mr.peanut
Is that a conspi channel? I don't watch it, but you seem to know them.
I would have to find the full interview first to watch. I did not find it on youtube. I know some are there, but not that one yet (at least, I did not find it yet). |

Is that where Cossette is? May explain why I would not have interest in it.
I don't use Spotify or know how to use it. Rogan is ok I guess, but I can live without him as well. |

I don’t disagree. But both did the best they really could in tough situations. Laine wanted out and roslovic wanted out as well. Both of them are whiners. PLD wanted out of Columbus, another whiner that didn’t like their situation.
It works out perfect, Columbus essentially sends PLD to the Columbus Ohio of Canada while the Jets sent the other two to the Winnipeg of America. Worked out great! - Habsolute009
Oh yes, I certainly agree with it from that point of view that it was a good trade in the sense that all of the whiners got punished. |

It's hard to imagine a player with less hart and motivation than Drouin...until you watch Pierre-Luc Dubois skate around the perimeter without touching anyone.
Thank god this disaster was avoided by the Habs. The Montreal Canadiens won this trade because they do not have either Laine or PL Dubois on their roster today. (I think Laine would have been okay perhaps, but Dubois...no way. He's a flyby floater all the way. |

Same here, I'm happy we didn't dismantle the team to fit PLD under our cap.
Colombus most likely would have wanted Suzuki ...
Suzuki: $863,333 (2020-21, 2021-22)
GP_G_ A_P
71 13 28 41
PLD: $5,000,000 (2020-21, 2021-22)
GP_G_ A_P
70 18 31 49
Is PLD's higher cap hit worth it? ... I don't think so. |

+ Suzuki is younger and started his career here. I think people should learn to appreciate what they have already. I know people like trades, but you don't make trades just to make them.
Let the team play. Bergevin made a lot of moves already this summer. Chemistry is very important.

Yep ... scoring has not been a problem so far this year, we are no longer relying on a single line for offense.
At this point I just wish we would tighten up our defensive play ... and stay out of the freakin' penalty box. |

You may argue that. Teams tend to over pay when they are desperate to get a C.
Look at what Bergevin did with the Drouin trade. He's not even a C but he overpaid to get him and play him there.
The Seth Jones trade I think could be another example, but Nashville had a of d to play with. - deadpoulet
They traded a 1RW for a 2C and threw in a prospect to boot.
Jets lose this deal if Laine re-signs with Clbs.

Anyone else enjoying the complete irrelevance of Max Domi? Guy is progressively getting worse IMO.
Honestly don’t know what that kids issue is. Is it personality? Attitude? Work ethic? All the above? It’s a shame because it started so promising his first year in Montreal. |

well he isn't with montreal anymore where saying anything negative about him would lead to a legion of hab fans going after you as they defended his personality, attitude and work ethic. |
