You’re right, my bad....was thinking of the performance prior to JTM’s return.

Agree on Podz likely starting role if he makes it over this “season”. As far as Hoglander...I like his energy, quickness and creativity. It will be interesting to see how he develops.

His shift in OT where he skated the puck into the Habs end, looked around, then chipped the puck into the corner to finish the change demonstrated just how stupid he is.

They have not looked good so far. Need to work smart from now on and get the effort level up.

A win tonight and they go 3 and 4 in an eleven day period - that is a lot of hockey. Jan/Feb appear to be the worst portion of the schedule so need to stay afloat.

lol Podz could actually help the Canucks 3LC Guadette more with his puck retrieval and passing. His play drive can compliment shooters JV and Guadette. At the very least be more effective then MIA Rouse.

#Canucks have not been a top-10 team in minor penalties taken in any of Travis Green's first three years on the job. Hasn't been a hallmark of way his teams have played. But number 1 in #NHL right now with 28 through first 6 games

Yeah Hogs has held his own and seems to be always driving play and creating. Now if Pearson can show up Bo will have more support.

Gaudette to date is liability on D & not exactly a playmaker nor gains the zone very well. Needs to simplify his game & bring his lunch bucket. A C has more responsibility than many realize so he has to work on one detail at a time to be more proficient. 1st priority is be harder to play against.

Much of it has to do with JB trying to build a top 6 & the 3rd line hasn’t had the needed attention nor talent to get untracked. That is a work in progress while other team needs are getting done.

Middle 6 wingers are not good enough. D is still the biggest fix priority. In goal it only needs to settle in if not hung out to dry.
