The turnover gifts & horrible play cannot be placed on Green. He could be the scape goat easy enough. If he’s to be fired there has to be a better candidate in the works or just keep him til the offseason.

There is no better coach available, just typical weak kneed pussies calling for a change.

The sword is not sharp enough to cut, doesn't matter how skilled the hand that wields it is...

If we miss the playoffs, can him in the offseason when there's better coaches available.

Orange man was bad, very very bad at his job and that’s why he was fired.

I agree, fixation with looking back at the past means that you'll stumble over the rock in your path. Move on.

Nighthawk has the answer for you "He didn't cough it up"
- manvanfan

You watch the play with your eyes closed?

He was flipping it to the wing & I think it was Horvat knocking it down for an easy play for the Habs. Coughing it up is Petey handing it away or Miller the same.

True, but a coach has to understand how to position his players to be successful. If a player is slumping then make adjustments. TG had no problem dropping BB to the 3rd line when not performing to expectations. If your team has a porous defence then systems need to be put in place that compensates.

A GM will not fire the entire roster or himself so the coaching staff is the natural target when things need to be shaken up.

Exactly 👍

A coach has to be consistent & also change his system. Jake gets dropped or sat. Cannot have a whipping boy then cater to others

He coughed it up and it is not really debatable

Horvat was being checked, nobody was pressuring hughes. Montreal was changing

he shoots the puck waist height at Horvat? It gets knocked down and fresh legs from montreal with a breakaway.

Sucks that he followed up two great shifts with just a braindead play that decided the game

I’m critical in my own ways but I don’t think the sky is falling at the signs of adversity or self inflicted suicide. Pros learn from adversity or they don’t last long. Somebody else will take their job.
