I'm loyal to whomever gives me the best deal and often play them against one another

You also need to take into account the network. If Telus can't get Fibre to the door, their service is sh!t.

Man, its amazing how many people on HF boards think Gillis was a GM God. He was as bad at being our GM as JB is.

The both have/had their strengths but man, their weaknesses were/are glaring. One is not the solution for the other.
I hope the new GM hires Gallant.

He was so good that no one hired him 7 years later.

I think TSN just doesn't want to work with him anymore, trying to pawn him off on Aqua

I actually think a lot of fans in Vancouver would love to see Ray as GM and Drance as head coach. I think if you ran a poll for that it would be about 40% in favor.

So how do we feel about Petey and Hughes having the same agent?

Not sure if this was previously posted or not (too much to read back on now). But what is your guys' take on this?

It's anyone's guess at this point. But it's something or nothing?

Just something to keep a eye on in VAN: word is Elias Pettersson is in the process of switch agents. His contract is up after this year.

There's an article on The Province about it. Basically their deals will get done at the same time, maybe gives the agent/players more leverage.

However, unless they turn their seasons around, they'll be getting a much shorter bridge deal.

I don't think there is an issue. It should be a 2 year deal at 7 mil regardless of how the year goes. Barzal is a client and he got 3 x 7 .

3x7 would be it then. Realistically, a poor season will result in a little less, but not much.

Torey Krug signed for 6.5 million. I would think the comparable are set.

Pateryn was just acquired for Ian Cole last week. Ennis was depth scoring. Probably just cap savings like every other team sending players up and down regularly.

𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 Faber Fire🎙
@ChrisFaber39
We’re at a point where fans are cheering for the #Canucks to lose so they fire their GM.
That’s a tough look for an organization.

It’s been a long time without a shakeup. If this team doesn’t show up this week, something is happening up top.

I’ve heard plenty of rumours and rumblings from people with better connections to the organization than me over the past 48 hours.

It’s making me think that this isn’t just smoke, there may be fire.

I think if they come in at the 7 mil mark or a tad lower everything should be fine . If Petey wants 8 or 9 I would ask him how he would like Winnipeg.
