Well, it’s not every time...long way to go before Perry has played 10 games or been on the Roster for 30 days. The thing is if a player is claimed of waivers, the team who claims them cannot put them on their own taxi squad, they have to put them in their line-up meaning that the players get a chance to play. Guess the players want as many chances to play as possible...

He had to clear waivers to get on the taxi squad not to get him on the team. And he will need to clear them again IF he plays 10 games or stays on the roster 30 games and then they want to reassign him to the taxi squad. Say Armia is back next week, Perry won’t have to clear waivers to go back to the taxi squad
