Lol agree. Allison definitely needs to figure out how not to get injured.

How long do you think laberge derailed us for?

Not about them really, just missing on your 2nd and 3rd pick that draft?

Not to mention who was the first pick?

All 3 are 22-23 right now, swing and a miss

Yeah 2016 no bueno

Didn’t we draft hart that year? Yeah German had his injuries as well so there’s that. But besides debrincat. After the what tenth pick no one from 2016 has done anything.

It wouldn’t be fair to say they should have picked someone else but what is fair is they missed on their first 3 picks of that draft, who knows maybe one of them come on but right now disappointing

I agree, I liked Pitlick, but the other two I was fine with not resigning.

I agree as well, but to say losing him Grant and Thompson doomed the Flyers? I’m happy paying NAK and Raffl instead.

I really hope you are right, because otherwise this entire rebuild through the draft has been a failure, and I don't want that to be the case. I see what you see, the systemic problems like players on the wrong side of the puck, coasting back and getting beat to pucks, not competing enough to consistently win 1 on 1 battles, etc. and I wonder, does this team have enough talent to overcome systemic mistakes and off nights? Talent hides a multitude of sins and so far what I have seen is if this team does not come out and play close to a perfect system game, they don't have the talent to overcome the mistakes and win the game. This is my biggest fear. Again I hope you are right.

The other thing that really bothers me is the entire team (except Hart) quit in the 3rd period the other night and as a result I have over 20 voice messages from my many stupid Bruin loving friends all humming the Bruins goal song "da da da da dum" ... its annoying!!

A very talented team may be able to overcome those issues in a game with scoring goals or having a goaltender steal a game but not consistently. Hopefully I don't have to explain that. Something else that shouldn't need to be explained is that no team plays a perfect systems game. So they don't need to do that. Lesser teams become more then they are with their level of compete. Montreal last year in the playoffs and Ottawa in the past.
