Tkachuk doesn't belong in the realm of Torres, Cooke, Carcillo, Downy... those guys were rats who weren't in the NHL if they weren't trying to hurt a good player every shift. He's more in line with Marchand and Wilson. Guys who are SOBs who play top 6 minutes and actually contribute. Just happen to piss people the frank off in the process. You get rid of those types and eventually you'll just have thuper theriouth boring ass hockey.

Spend a lot of my time in Vegas. Have been to more Knights games than oilers and flames the last few years and they are far more fun.
they are bandwagon jumpers and the worst kind of sports fans...once all their dumb contracts and poor trades catch up to them these "fans" will be on to the next team that happens to be doing well at the time.
I see a lot of KC hats and shirts around these days lol

Yep a have a family member that plays for them, well on the taxi squad. Nope, I'm happy being a fan.
I let him live his dream. He's a damn good hockey player and the game is everything to him. Funny, I have coached up to AAA midget and have seen so many parents (and kids) that are CONVINCED they are going to make the show. I have seen what it takes and what commitment truly means. Very few have the god-given talent (McDavid) and most have to work their asses off. Mom and dad can only help so much. The last year I coached (asst) AAA, not one kid on our team got drafted, though a few got scholarships in the US or here. Most played Junior B or minor pro in Europe. Funny one of them subbed on my men's team a couple of years back. I had a slight disagreement with his mom about ice time, ability, etc when I coached him. She was convinced I was wrong. He told me his mom was nuts! He hated how she behaved...
