On Sunday afternoon, Mathew Tkachuk was driven fiercely into the Leafs net by former teammate, TJ Brodie. On the play somehow Chucky’s knee made contact with Leafs goalie, Babyface Campbell’s back. As Mathew was checking with Campbell to make sure he wasn’t injured, all hell broke loose. Many little Leaf players came to the aid of their tender but not 1 of those little guys thought it was bad enough to drop the gloves. Nothing to see here! There was no penalty on the play, although it was pretty obvious that Tkachuk was cross checked from behind. NHL officials have reviewed the incident and have have concluded no further discipline needed. Tkachuk wasn’t expecting anything else to happen and has said “he doesn’t blame Brodie, that it’s just part of the game”.

Its amazing with all these "dirty plays" he hasn't been suspended in three years
McDavid and Kassianx2 have more recent suspensions
Tkachuck will fight when its advantageous for Calgary and not when Richard Simmonds thinks he should - flashfire
Lot's of sneaky dirty players have never been suspended...is what it is. One thing I will give Tkachuk credit for is he is a master at it. I'm sure he'll answer the bell if called.
