Murray last year had 58% of his starts as poor. The only other "starting" goalies (more than 30 starts) who were in the same company as Murray were Jones, Bernier, Bobrovsky and Gibson.

The only reason Jones still has a job in the NHL is because of his abysmal contract which is still paying $5.75m for 4 more years including this one.

Bernier is like a jobber in wrestling. You get him when you want to lose and improve your draft position. He looks good doing it, and sometimes you think you have a chance, but he's all-in on losing. Metaphorically, he's comparable to what Butch was supposed to be when Marsellus Wallace paid him off. Take your $3m and don't let pride f$% with you.
