I thought Malkin had his best game. Not all of it. 2nd half of the game he was invested.

Encouraging things... Marino was better. Malkin was better. Zucker was better. Jarry was really good. This was the first game I thought Kap had heavy legs, but he still got loose a couple of times.

That PP though.... it's dog sh!t and probably cost them the game.

Malkin is definitely gripping his stick. He should have just gone for it again, but the pass to Letang wasn’t necessarily the wrong idea either. Letang’s pass back was what (frank)ed it. At that point Geno was out of position to score and had to try to pass it back, which was an easy stop for Raask.

That sounds right.

Some positives:
We got a point and erased a deficit again.
Zucker seems to have found his game.
Kap continues to show flashes of being great.

Some negatives:
The powerplay continues to look bad.
We are a pass first team and should have won it in OT with a 3-0 against the goalie instead of passing they should have shot it and waited for the rebound.
We have more injuries following this game.

-hopefully Pettersson and/or Matheson return soon
