Looks like Hornqvist had quite a game for the Panthers. He is a spark plug, that’s for sure. |

Some positives:
We got a point and erased a deficit again.
Zucker seems to have found his game.
Kap continues to show flashes of being great.
Some negatives:
The powerplay continues to look bad.
We are a pass first team and should have won it in OT with a 3-0 against the goalie instead of passing they should have shot it and waited for the rebound.
We have more injuries following this game.
-hopefully Pettersson and/or Matheson return soon - 123Kid
That last pp Letang was with the 2nd unit just hammering the puck from the blue line every time it came to him. It’s like shooting sunk in for a bit. Rierden better get to work on that pp.
I think it was one of their better games. No 5vs5 goals. Their pp needs to start from the ground up though.
4th line wasn’t noticeable in a good or bad way which is probably a good thing. 3rd line looked good. Kap and zucker were looking good.
The mistakes when they make them are just so atrocious. Gonna be interesting how sully does his lines now. |

Ugh why did Ek have to say pens are in on Dunn. Not sure what the blues are doing trading him but I think he’s very very good already and like 23 years old. (frank) Rutherford if there is a time to pull the trigger and that’s your guy get him! |

Not sure if this is sustainable. Have to win regulation games to get some separation in the division. Can’t be giving out loser points to everyone. - chimpira
Our first goal Rask seemed to pull something and couldn't get up to make a save.
2nd goal it rolled off Kapanen's stick and he never shot it, but it also fooled Rask
Totally sustainable. |

Since I'm the one who vocally doesn't have faith in him yet, only fair to say Jarry played well. |

You’ve been trying to manifest a goalie acquisition for like a while calendar year at this point haha |

I would like Dunn. He mostly looks good... on a much more structured St. Louis team. |

he did.
there were some issues which are more of the same. the powerplay is going to absolutely kill them. the way they lost, classic just gaffes that were extremely predictable. that being said, there were a ton of positives to take from this game. zucker was flying. POJ can hold his own. if malkin gets going, the top six will be really good because if crosby gets guentz and rust for a prolonged period, they are going to do consistent damage. all jokes aside and health obviously assuming, im not opposed to trying matheson on the PP up top when hes back and into things. |

Lol yep pretty much. It takes me a couple years to begin to trust a goalie though. |

Ugh... just text my buddy and he said blues were looking for a 1st or top prospect or more for Dunn as of yesterday and he would expect 12 or more teams will be checking in with the blues about getting him. |

Well he’s another turn over machine anyways. Chases hits. And apparently from my buddy who is a blues fan it’s not that he has a ton of turnovers but they are like malkin or Letang bad in that they happen at the worst time in the worst place. So he would be at home here. |

Sounds like a shiit player then... see what he ends up going for. Anyone able to post some charts on Dunn vs dumo and/or petts not that I’m huge into those anyways |

Yeah sounds like st lou isn’t happy with his play and that’s why they are trading him. Don’t know why you’d expect a 1st rounder for that. |
|

In the circumstances, Dunn isnt worth a top prospect or 1st.
However, given the season and most teams looking for defense, I could see St. Louis get something close to that.
Our problem is that we just dont have many assets. We've been spending draft picks like drunken sailors and dont have much to show for it. |

Also, that Ottawa fan that was here laughing that we gave Murray away... funny how he disappeared all of a sudden. |

Yea I'm not sure, I just remember watching him play on the Blues cup run and I liked his game but other than that haven't watched the Blues. |
