I’ve been defending Quinn but I’m done. This team lacks motivation.
I’d fire both Quinn and Martin. Under no circumstance would I give this team to Martin. |

Im done with the rebuild, time to start bearing fruit, this team should be taking a step forward instead we’re gonna be dead last in this division, the organization being successful is a hopeless cause |

Veterans not scoring with Zib and Panarin slumping and mostly invisible. Trouba playing garbage. Not winning draws. Laf snakebite so far. Please explain to me how this all David Quinn's fault? The default position is to blame the coach, but seriously? Not everything is his faulty, including playing Johnson. - airjan23
Playing Johnson is absolutely his fault, he’s been the worst player on the team in every game he’s played. |

I really thought Trotz would be the perfect coach but they hired Quinn right before he left the Capitals.
I do not have a preferred candidate, but I wouldn’t be opposed to giving Gallant a shot in NY. We need someone with a bit of an edge. |

I’m not done with Quinn just yet, but if we were to get someone Gallant would get my vote |

I understand the argument tbat the players still need to produce however weve all seen it with other teams when players dont buy into a coaches rhetoric anymore. |

Without putting blame on anyone I would just rather see young guys make mistakes than watching a washed up vet take the spot. They should of just kept Staal for one more year. |

Panarin refuses to even hit the net right now.
I have no clue what Zib is doing, but it's not hockey |

Jan, I have been one of the biggest Quinn supporters. But, I am extremely frustrated with him right now. Of course, you can't fairly dump every problem this team is having on him. But, certainly enough of them that he needs to be taken to task. I'm not advocating firing him (yet), but adjustments need to be made.
If playing Johnson is not his fault, then neither is anything else and he should be removed immediately. What good is a head coach that doesn't have final say on his team? That is tantamount to publicly stating he isn't the right man for the job. Give his the reins in truth, and he either turns it around or proves that a change is needed.
At the end of the day, JJ's issues have outweighed his pluses in every game he's played. Sit him, don't sit him, that's one thing. But, if he's going to be in the line up, what in God's name is he doing paired with another defensively challenged Dman? And why are they on for every defensive zone draw late in the game?
Right now nothing would make me happier than tuning into his press conference and hearing one of these useless, drivel-regurgitating "reporters" ask a real (frank)ing question about why these decisions are being made. I swear I would support Larry Brooks for head coach if he would ask a pertinent question instead of leading the interviewee down a garden path to an answer that any one of else could supply by rote and does nothing to hold a mirror up to this staff. |

Kreider "Maybe a game like this will help the team to start hate losing."
Quinn " If these guys didn't hate losing from the start of the season, something is wrong."
Quinn isn't the problem, but he will be the fall guy. Its just the way it is. |

the 6 on 4 at the end - defenceman has a broken stick and panarin take a wrister from the outside circle right into his shinpads.
he's lost, like most of the team, right now |

Every single person collecting a paycheck by the NYRs is at fault. From JD/Gorton all the way down to Blackwell/Rooney. Some more than others, sure, but they've shown up for one stinking game.
Probably speaking for most fans right now: I'm just plain old frustrated and disappointed. |

That was the worst powerplay I have seen in a long time. Up 2.5 men and no one moved. Everyone just stood there making dumb passes around the perimeter |
