He wasn't even pinching, he was basically at the blue line and missed an easy puck on the PP.
Trouba (frank)ing sucks. End of story. - mdw7413
He was a little further down than that. Tony should have been closer to the middle of the ice. He probably catches him in that run down if he is closer to the middle. |

Trouba also took a second or two to realize what was happening before he started slowly skating. Tony took off right away. - Fenrir
that is 100% true |

Doesn't matter.
Trouba sucking is not the end of the story.
It's a team game and Tony did not position himself the way he should've to support his teammate. Both are at fault. Tony is one of the best skaters out there. If he was even 10 feet out of position, he would've caught up on that backcheck. He was negligent. |

That is true and it infuriated me. He has no idea what that play is gonna turn into. Get your ass back into your zone and be ready. |

Compare that to Kreider's 9-10. - JRR1285
Yea they all suck right now, 4 years isn't an excuse for him.... and honestly I would say Kreider is more of a rookie than him since he can still win the calder this year. |

I can live with that, but even if he is in the middle of the ice, there was no guarantee he would have caught the player in full stride blowing by Trouba like a traffic cone. Trouba is 100% at fault for that goal - mdw7413
He probably would of caught him if he almost caught him being at the other boards. |

I'm not completely disagreeing with you. But Tony is not the biggest problem with this team. It's the players who are getting played like franchise players not doing anything. |

It's JJ. Trouba can't suck this much, he's here for 6 more years. |

there's talk about St Louis putting Vince Dunn on the block and lots of Rangers fans going nuts, but to me people are just overreacting to this anomaly of a season with JJ and Smith here temporarily, 14 million in dead space, etc
they don't need to acquire Vince Dunn, they need to be patient until Zac Jones and Nils Lundkvist get here
what we need to acquire is a center, really really really badly |

Easy there, Mr. Bean.
We need Nils to replace some of the other poop that is patrolling our blueline!!! - Tonybere
That's what I mean Tony. Seeing Miller's strong start makes me not want to trade Nils. |

Well they are different sides, I think Nils "could" be expendable if they like Schneider better
and JD got an orgasm selecting Schneider |

A center is by the far biggest need. Thought they would wait till offseason but might need to make it sooner

If the center position isn't addressed at the draft and the offseason, I'm going ape |
