But, she is really only interested in watching her Leafs ( ) and only in a big game, at that.

I found it incredibly annoying and boring at first but Eugene Levy's son makes that show great eventually. I was initially avoiding it when my wife watched it but it is often seriously funny.

Around here my daughter is the one to put on background television.
It is ALWAYS one of Brooklyn 99, Modern Family or Kimmy Schmidt. Gotta expand her catalogue of decent sitcoms!! We actually just completed Parks and Recreation, so I'm sure that will enter the rotation. I think Arrested Development will be next!
