Reminds me of the time me and my friend Billy Ray cornered the market on FCOJ.

I love watching Burke hate on the leafs. Though, I do think he inherited a team that had already been run into the ground by JF Jr and instead of embracing the tank he paid high for help now. Obviously he should have let the team tank but I don't think that was in his philosophy. Unfortunately for him, the 1C that he gave up in that draft was never going to be attainable for him any other way.

Also, he drafted Luke Schenn ahead of a lot of really good players, so who's to say he would have even picked Seguin and not some chump because he looked tough and is super tall?

I feel like I'm defending Brian Burke, when I don't want to be. His major problem was that he couldn't accept that he had to blow it up and start over. He wanted to hit a home run and win a cup in 3 years, but there just wasn't talent, prospects or even pick depth available for him to take the swings he was taking. It was a terrible take on the status of the team. If you look at the history of the Leafs, the goaltending problems started with John Ferguson Jr who just couldn't solve them, and they didn't get fixed until Lou traded for Freddie:
