Ugh...fantasy hockey is already a monkey on my back...recommending gambling to get into something is pretty funny 😂 - Zezel
I’m not a big gambler but I’ll throw $5 the odd day on a game.
I think it was Monday night, there was only 1 nhl game and the raptors game. I parlayed the two and won like $22 or something. Nothing to lose your house on or retire on but it made me want to tune in for a few minutes. Kept me interested in the night while the wife watched Bridgetown. |

So John Gibson is amazing and Brian Burke traded that pick to "Move up" for Tyler Biggs.
And we are supposed to value Burke's "Opinion" on SN. |

Waaaaaaaay back in the day, I used to play rugby.
It's absolutely unwatchable now.

It's okay. Based on Burke's drafting history, there's no way he would have drafted Gibson with that pick. |

Ya the NFL is garbage....football overall is a pretty meh sport.
Its just not watchable, its all about the production of the broadcast and not the game itself I find.
I even tried a football pool once....still didnt give a sh!t about the NFL or its crappy games.
Ah well. - Fakepartofme
Wrong!
Best athletes of the 4 major sports
Same guys with 42” vert can run a 4.4 40m and bench 225 lbs for 25 reps
No hockey players are doing that |

I agree that the players are very athletic and very talented but the sport itself is kinda 'meh'.

If we had kept those picks, we would have drafted Tyler Biggs at 30 instead of at 22, and then at 39, probably Brett Ritchie who was 6'4 220 and also not as good at hockeying as he was at being large. |

A package was supposed to arrive yesterday.
They updated it this morning to say it won't arrive until tomorrow.
I can't decide whether I'm pissed it's late, or happy that it gives me an extra two days of anticipation, waiting for it to arrive.
We can never know about the days to come,
But we think about them anyway... - Atomic Wedgie
yup they need to keep to their shipping commitment to you.
I'd also be disappointed.
like I order a station bike from best buy and they keep pushing the date back for delivery

Cool theyre strong.
But they play for 10 seconds and break.
Best athletes (stamina) i would think are rugby and soccer.
Rugby is non stop punishment with no equipment.
A good percentage of the athletes in the nfl or football in general are overweight big guys. |

For sure. Trade is probably the easiest way. Since like was said, the Jays got an excess of OF's. |

Did you have the cricket sweater?
Perhaps the epitome of preppiness in the 1980s - you had to have a lot of guts to pull it off. I never had one, but my brother did.
We always joke about bringing it back. - Atomic Wedgie
I don’t think so. It was a school team and I don’t remember sweaters, just the whites (almost 50 years ago) |
