2.84 GAA and .896 S%. His GSAA is also a -1.64 which is pretty stinky. Other fancy stats like XGA are pretty poopty too.

Small sample set but I'm not willing to admit he's improved on last season's form just yet. At the very least, he hasn't been "great".

He was terrible against Montreal and Ottawa. He was good against Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary, so he's trending in the right direction in his last 4 games - including making a real nice save against Lindholm last game. One save is just one save, but how he tracked it, how he came across post-to-post and stayed high in the net to make the glove save was noticeable and encouraging. Often, when he's not on his game, Freddie comes across post-to-post too low and exposes too much of the upper net.

But as with any goalie - it's a "what have you done for me lately" position. If he craps the bed tonight, we'll all be back and female doging about him again.

I've been hard on Andersen, but I think he's been good lately. I do believe that not having any exhibition games, it was hard to adjust
