I think they are doing their jobs.

They can be hard or soft of the team, depending on expectations towards the team.

If the team were to fail this year, I'm sure they'd be all over Bergevin because expectations are higher than they were the last few years.

In 2017-2018, before Bergevin's "reset" they wanted to hang the guy.

Now that things are looking up, they are giving him the credit he deserves.

I don't think the media covering the Leafs are any different. You're just overexposed to it and the expecations over the last few years have been high while the team has come up short.

But some illegal substances didn't make you bigger/stronger. Just helped you heal faster.

Again, I'm not accusing him or anyone not found guilty to have juiced up... I just can't completely dismiss it either.

I actually predict the feint-flip - at the end of the game, a guy will skate in front of him, overly-exaggerate like he's going to flip it at him, but not actually fire the puck.
