Makar has 58 points in 64 games as a defenseman, that's unreal, he's sixth on that list and he's played 60% less games than the five guys ahead of him.

I swear if the Canucks would've won the first overall pick Linden and Benning were picking him.

Yeah that kid is on fire, he's so good.. BUT I'm glad we got Petey bcus I think it led to picking Hughes. Otherwise, If they had Makar more than likely they would've needed a forward instead of picking QH and IMO all the best forwards were gone by that point and none as good as EP.

I am still on board that this team will get going. I think they will finish top 10 .

I think next year Peasron Gaudette Jake Roussel Sutter and Zack will not be part of the team. I will also say that unless Brock has a better year and not be going through long stretches of no goals they will trade him too . His qualifying offer the following contract would be too high for a 20 goal guy.

That's because you think this teams success is built around the bottom 6 and I think it is built around Petey Bo JTM and Hughes.

I am still on board that this team will get going. I think they will finish top 10 .

If they miss badly, I could see radical changes (to the extent you mention) but that would probably be under different management.

Or....they could've picked Noah Dobson or Ty Smith in 2018 to build a great defence and then picked Zegras in 2019?

Well... They won the game before and the number of pages is similar to the number of pages to the game before when they lost.

Btw, did you want the team to lose when the Sedins were here? Could explain why you think so many people here are rooting for defeat.
