From the hockey writers, regarding the expansion draft goalies... they're drunk, the Canucks signed Holtby to expose, I didn't think that was news to anybody.
Thatcher Demko – Vancouver Canucks
I have Thatcher Demko on this list for three reasons. First, he will be an RFA after this season. That will allow Seattle to sign him long term if they believe he is the right fit. Second, I don’t see Vancouver leaving Braydon Holtby unprotected. Yet, if they decide to protect Holtby, they will be leaving Demko ripe for the taking. Finally, it would add excitement to the new cross-border rivalry with Vancouver. |
