Yes true he has gotten assists that way but its not like its on purpose. Most his assists are a result of no finish. I dont know im just not a fan of keeping it on the ice for a shootout attempt. Get that thing 12" in the air

Here’s my early observations.
1st line good, not great
2nd line need a true #2 center. Not Weinberg. Huber deal is a pass first guy who needs someone to get it to.
3rd line center has potential and all three need to chip in goals.
4th line just isn’t tough enough.

I guess Lamikko will be coming in. Hopefully the seven D lineup is one and done, idk, it seemed to confuse things on the ice sometimes.
Forsling was injured last night, I guess when falling and crashing into Driedger.
Driedger with another strong game, he’s keeping the pressure on Bob to step it up from last season.

Forsling will be out for a week or two. Tippett is back from taxi squad, and Heponiemi also called up. Hepo expected to play tonight. Bob back in goal, I imagine Driedger goes tomorrow.
