I know that. Just using numbers as a comparison. And you are right. The Rangers are going to be running into a problem where they will have to prioritize who becomes the solidified top 6 wingers and move on from others via trade. Goes back to my argument of drafting or trading for players that fit the needs of the team and not just skilled players. - NYRCeph
In later rounds I agree with this, but it is always best to draft the best player available in the first two rounds. If two players are evenly rated and one is the position of need you take the need.

There is definitely going to be a trade for a center eventually. There has to be. Theyre gonna have to consolidate all these prospects and potentially good picks into something tangible at a position of dire need.
I think they made the right picks, but drafting Kravstov, Kakko and Lafreniere, signing Panarin, signing Kreider, it's clear that the next big move that this team makes has got to be down the middle
I can't get on Quinn for tinkering with the lines as much as everyone else does when he has this situation - jimbro83
Winning this second game takes the heat off Quinn a bit. It did seem like he was able to change some of his coaching philosophy by playing the players that deserved to play

Oh yea. They are in a great position and it is a good issue to have. They will have to make some decisions on what commodities to keep for sure in the next year or so.
Oh yea. I think they may have the capital to trade for a quality center. Or take MDW's approach and just draft all Centers and hope you hit a bullsize.

Also, two games JJ is out, two wins - Bean_Dip
thankfully they didn't lose that game late again on some cheap goal, when it was late in 3rd and Buffalo had the puck in Rangers zone, I couldn't even look at the TV

Keep the lines exactly the way they were. Even the 4th line was moving last night. Nothing on the score sheet, but they kept Buffalo pinned in there zone on multiple shifts

Also I am not overreacting to Blackwell yet. Yea he played a nice couple of games, But lets not act like 2 games makes this guy the long term fixture to the 3rd line lol
