Also I am not overreacting to Blackwell yet. Yea he played a nice couple of games, But lets not act like 2 games makes this guy the long term fixture to the 3rd line lol

Its not about long term fixture, but we need someone solid there for a few weeks. If he does well, he can move back to the wing, or we put him on the 4th line center and bump Howden either to the wing or taxi squad.

You know, I dont think it would mess with him. He seems to have decent hands in the dot although a small sample size. I think he would embrace it.

But, there is a huge difference between stepping in to take a draw and fully playing the center position. I feel it would be setting him up to fail if that was done.

We have seen zero evidence that a move like this would ever happen.

My video was, I think Matt was referencing Human Centipede.

Both absolute trash movies, but in very different fashions

Don’t worry, would never post the actual human centipede version. Thought the South Park one would give you a laugh

The way Id run it is...

LAF, Zib, Buch
Panarin, Strome, Kakko
Kreider, Blackwell, Lemieux
PDG, Howden, Rooney

- aecliptic

Gauthier in for Rooney maybe? Possibly even on the 3rd line with Blackwell and Kreider. Big (other than Blackwell) speedy line.

Clearly size on this team is irrelevant. I chose Lemieux because hes physical and gritty. He also does show a desire to go for the net.

Just looking at faceoff stats, couple of guys should be looked into

Glendening from wings, winning 69% of draws
Henrique (big contract tho) winning 56%
Bonino 57%
Dvorak 56% (he’s my ideal guy, good player)

Glendening should be a target tho, he’d cost nothing

Still would leave the lines the way they were. Every line was engaged and that game could have easily been 5-2 except Linus was incredible. Hell Laf could have had a hatty himself

Kreider should be a mainstay on the 3rd line and play pp1/pk
