I want a 3rd and an open spot for Podz when he gets here. I think I'm just tired of watching Jake fly down the wing and lose the puck plus he's up with Myers as the heaviest players on the team but you wouldn't know it by his play. I've much preferred Gaudette on the wing the last 2 games.

Until now Benning has bought out one contract. If his ELCs keep working out I don't see a need to buy out someone .

I think next year they will let Pearson walk and replace him with Pod and move Jake and replace him with Lind. That might be it for the forwards . I think they will trade Loui for a pick on his last year.

with MacEwen's goal tonight, that's now 12 goals from #Canucks bottom six in first 11 games (Motte 5, Sutter 4, MacEwen, Gaudette & Virtanen). That's been a wildly pleasant surprise

The available forwards won't be touched, nor do I think they will take Holtby, with several younger goalies available.

Agreed, that is why I think they should expose Myers and protect three others. Doubt Seattle chooses Myers but if they did then just bonus cap space

Well the cap will be stagnant but will start to rise again in 2022 or more likely 2023. That said I said Savard is on my radar since Hamilton is likely staying in Carolina. The cap allocation works on capfriendly which I posted awhile ago on here.

It does, but the team will lose a player regardless, so rather lose a Rafferty than Chatfield or OJ.
