Not like that he doesn't, that one was special. I don't understand when people say his talent is wasted in Edmonton, such an odd thing considering they have new management and he's only JUST turned 24, he's only been in the league five full seasons.

Sometimes it takes year for great players to win Cups, and some never do, Steve Yzerman was in his 30's before Detroit finally put a Cup winner together. Joe Sakic was in the league seven years and only played twelve playoff games.

He's probably going to want more than his current 6, and if you're going long term to keep the $$ down, then what does that mean when Hoglander and the other rookies come up for raises?

I'm just saying 6-7 mil is a lot to spend on your 3C, and it's going to impact the contracts of Bo and Brock.

We've seen so much first overall talent wasted in Edmonton, this is not the first rodeo.

You can't possibly be serious. He played excellent against Ottawa. So did Holtby. I'm sure none of them have a screamer like Lordy, but there were some great chances. It's not like they are trying less to score than any other NHL team.
