Like the people who say the Canucks have wasted the ELC contracts of Petey and Hughes. It's so hard to win a cup, let alone a rookie leading your team. - NewYorkNuck
Exactly....if the Canucks had been building BEFORE they drafted Pettersson and Hughes perhaps, but they weren't, they were competing for a Stanley Cup ten years ago. The Canucks just need to keep building on what they've assembled and hopefully they find the right combination.
Alex Ovechkin is one of the greatest goal scores in NHL history and it took him 13 seasons before he ever made it past the second round.
We've seen so much first overall talent wasted in Edmonton, this is not the first rodeo. - pker2theend
Did you read Pamela Anderson just married her body guard? As for the Oilers, they're building just fine under Holland, he can't turn that ship around in one season. The Oilers are competitive, they're certainly not Senators bad.
Yaaa don't think there's any feasible way to fit RNH under the cap without paying to get out from Myers and LE. He's already sitting at 6 mil... do you want to spend that much on your 3C? - NewYorkNuck
No reason to get out from Myers, yes to Eriksson, Pearson, Baertschi, Virtanen.
If it costs you a 2nd round pick to get rid of LE or Myers to get RNH you do it. Also, he'd be playing on the second line once Pearson is gone. - pker2theend
I’m not understanding the Myers hate, this guy is exactly what the team has needed for a long time, why not just say get rid of Edler or Boeser

Have you seen what Pamela looks like lately? Like most takes in here... not aged well.

I respectfully disagree, Podz Bo and Hogz are the 2nd line of the future.
RNH 3lc with pp time.
Gaudette or Lind as 4lc
Beagle, Roussel, Sutter can all F off next season, I like Sutter this year, if he'll sign for 1m, let him center the 4 line.
He's probably going to want more than his current 6, and if you're going long term to keep the $$ down, then what does that mean when Hoglander and the other rookies come up for raises?
I'm just saying 6-7 mil is a lot to spend on your 3C, and it's going to impact the contracts of Bo and Brock.
It's doable for sure, but like you mentioned they'd have to get out of a couple contracts. I wonder if sending packaging JV for a young D and then sending something to Seattle to get them to take Myers would be an option to move cap? - NewYorkNuck
ACGM Capfriendly will sort you out instead of wondering.
