I certainly understand where you're coming from, but I don't agree.
I think we're fine without him. He shouldn't play above Fox or Trouba. What I don't like is that we get nothing for him.
This is exactly why I wanted to sell high on him in the off-season. He has a history of being a head case and had a phenomenal season. Should've flipped him for top dollar value and gotten a cheap place holder awaiting the next kids.

See, I'd like to think that if this is true. That its because its far from the first offense, he has clashed with others and was disrespectful about this whole latest situation.
If thats the case, I stand behind the organization. Because you're right, if its a one off its crazy. But, regardless of deals he has made, Gorton has never shown to be anything other than professional and respectful. And we know that's the way JD rolls. IDK.
