I don't hate Myers, I just think he's overpaid and his dumb penalties annoy me. I'm of the opinion that even if left exposed he won't be taken by Seattle.

I like the idea of having him on the team, just not at the price point/ice time that he is currently getting.

Players always get their money, GM's don't really care that much, it's not coming out of their pockets. Their sole purpose and goal is to ice a winning team and keep their jobs.

Any GM who overpays bottom six forwards but scrimps on paying his best two players would be a complete and utter moron....oh wait
