He would need more shoe polish and a better wardrobe before that could happen

Personally, I wonder if watching his ex-teammates win a cup last season has given him added a degree of frustration this season. Maybe put a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

I'm sure it stings a little. But Miller is a pro and will step up. He seemed pissy over the loss of Markstrom, Tanev (and Leivo lol) but as the season moves on he'll understand it's the right course. It's a business as much as a sport.

Pretty respectable for Demko only letting in 5 goals in 40+ shots.

I'm sure it stings a little. But Miller is a pro and will step up. He seemed pissy over the loss of Markstrom, Tanev (and Leivo lol) but as the season moves on he'll understand it's the right course. It's a business as much as a sport.

Then, in the offseason he basically says those guys don’t matter, we’re going with a bunch of rookies instead...

I brought it up one game and was told that it isn't costing the team, as this line was awesome(paraphrasing), so I left it alone.
If this team wants to move to the next level, the roles and responsibilities need to be defined a little better. Imo

I agree with this statement for sure, I think EP40 needs to either play the middle all the time and work in the defensive zone or move to the wing not a hybrid where he doesn't take draws. He needs to focus on the draws if it's a weakness, considering the best face off man in the league plays on the team I'm sure he would give some help on this

MTL seems to be that team we just can't play well against, i see that series going 6-3 in MTL favor. EDM will require McDavid and Draisatl to beat us IMO, I see that series going 6-4 in our favor. WPG we seem to play well against, i see that series going 5-4 in our favor. Calgary I see us going 5-5 vs them, Ottawa I see us going 8-1 against, and Toronto will either be 5-4 or 6-3 in our favor.



Not including any loser points I see us getting around 64 points this year.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. For the record, no! I said two years ago it would take 6 x $6 to sign Markstrom and wanted to trade him (while the team was still bad). I didn’t want to sign Myers (to the same terrible contract you don’t want Tanev etc). I didn’t want to trade for Toffoli or Miller.

But now we’re here, so what can they do?
