Did not like the Jake pick huh? Let's look at some quotes from draft day then....

Absolutely nowhere can I find you showing disappointment for not selecting Ehlers.
So just another flip flopping rewrite of the past. Go ahead and female dog but you are busted again.
Edit: You can also see you were a fan of the Kesler trade as well... applauding Sbisa... No surprises here with Jake and Sbisa. We all know about your size bias. - boonerbuck
Those quotes are all Leftcoaster, but you’re talking to Pacificgem... |

You said you were partial to Green, I just wasn’t sure if we were talking coaches, or drugs... |

That's poop is so long ago.

"(frank) Garrison. I called that bust from day 1 (upsetting my fellow fans, but proven right as usual) "
@mattsekeres: NBC's Pierre McGuire says #Canucks might have cleared cap space to try & acquire #Sabres D Tyler Myers. $5.5M cap hit, 5 yrs remaining.

I thought about a post of yours from last night . It sort of got me wondering. It was the comment of don't protect Schmidt and Myers and protect the four young guys that
need protecting.
I would be okay with whatever decision the team makes and it has a lot to do with how OJ and Chatfield have played. I do like Schmidt even though he is still adjusting to new line mates and systems . Again it has more to do with how they young guys are fitting in than me trying to move a vet. It is an interesting idea though , something I didn't really consider before last night. - VANTEL
I think it is still a bit early on some of these young guys and Schmidt, to determine any protection list.
These next 9 games against the 3 top teams in division, Habs 2, Leafs 3 and Flames 4 could help determine who candle the higher level of play.
I believe in March, the Kraken can start talking to other teams. Not sure if they can talk about who they might consider taking, with a sweetener added, but, if they can do that then it might be pre-determined who will be selected, well before the expansion draft. |

Back when Hoglander was selected, him, Nucker and myself were happily surprised that we selected Nils, as the 3 of us had him going in various spots in the 1st round. |

I was happy with that pick as well. Quite a few people thought it was a stretch a couple months back when I was talking about him taking that open spot on Bo's wing. The discussion was who to sign or who was already on the roster. No one yet was talking Hogs. I knew the reaction I would get but the kid was showing so much in the SHL... even when he was on that one cold streak he was playing smart hockey.

Your record, along with everyone else on this site, although not very good, is still better than Eklund's.👍 |

Yes, I do remember that DCT wanted Albin Grewe over him and that's great Hoglander was 21 on my rankings in the draft. |

Most of the time Ek gets flak for getting it wrong even though he clearly says "Im hearing from a source". Then it's followed up by hundreds of Hockeybuzzards saying he's an idiot for thinking or predicting this or that when clearly thats not what he said. But it's undeniable that his sources are complete Sh!t and he should ignore them by now. His record of rumors' having some teeth are worse than fans who randomly post BS as far as I can see.

I'm not there in those blogs at all. The next day I said that our GM had changed but scouting still sucked. I also said this teams needs more top 6 forwards and Jacob Middleton for 7th round pick. He was 2nd last pick and has played 14 more games than Mackenzie Stewart has. |

I thought he said Grewe could replace the Podz pick. He was happy with Hog but wanted more at 10th. |

I think we all know who is on the fire Benning wagon . It is fine. Everyone has an opinion. - VANTEL
That’s all good but lacks a better replacement. So til then a weak opinion. |
