I actually enjoy a good political discussion, I don't consider anything I have read on Carol's hockey blog thread, anything close to being good political discussion.
But, I am sure everyone knows, it has pissed off the ref and he has given several warnings and has said bans are coming. Believe it or not, I actually like pretty much everyone here and like to hear their opinions on hockey and music.

Seventh Son is a great album. Concept album by Maiden and one of their best really. It's doesn't get the accolades the older stuff gets but it's right there with the best of their best.

I just about always go 4 somewhere in my betting on horses. It has done me well over the years, although, I haven't been able to do any betting in the last few years.

Mine too. I call it part of the 'holy trinity' of Maiden albums that being Powerslave-Somewhere in Time-Seventh Son as being their three best albums period. Their progression through those three records was unmatched IMO. Critics alike are also graduating towards Seventh Son as one of their best. I liken it to Judas Priests 'Painkiller' which is an album from their catalog that doesn't get very high praise but really is probably one of their top 3 albums. Great stuff.

Me too. And there are topics that are essentially ‘out of bounds’. I’ve tried to discuss First Nation issues a number of times and it’s a place where most will just not go.
GF and I are currently giving $40 per month to the 'adopt a family' program here to help feed families that struggle for cash to get food. Feels good to give.
Speaking of donating money, I already gave 20 dollars to our local food bank, as I don't believe Canucks have a chance in hell to make the top 10 now. I will make another at seasons end as well.
