I’m surprised at how bad they’re doing, their top six scoring just isn’t there, much like us.

I think Aquilini’s too cheap to fire Benning this year, Green with an expiring contract, sure, coach usually goes first anyway.

They are still missing some key pieces. This is a good year to get a good D with size that can skate.

I would sell off players this year and if JB can't, i'd let him go as well.

It's his second coach , but they need to upgrade on the coaching staff . The head coach needs to go when the correct replacement is available. Until they find an interim coach

It really is crazy how Pettersson's line has fallen off a cliff in terms of possession

They were one of the better lines in hockey last year

but in this canadian division they are getting absolutely smoked.

I was going to ask you , seeing you are probably the most involved with scouting.

In pre Covid years first round picks and second round picks had great value . If you used a hypothetical rating system like the one below How would this years top two rounds rate?

Round 1 (top 15) is ten points
Round 1( bottom 15 )is nine points
Round 2 ( top 15) is eight points
Round 2 (Bottom 15 )seven points.

The reason I ask is I don't think if you traded a guy like Pearson and got a second round pick it would as strong as other years . It would be a bigger wildcard than most years because of drafting issues..

I also don't think teams looking to move salary are are going to get much bang for the buck with a first or second round pick. Example Ottawa won't take Eriksson for a first round pick they would want Lind .

Canucks trade Kesler Bieksa Garrison Burrows Hansen and didn't do a full rebuild but LA trade Muzzin Toffoli and Martinez and that is a full rebuild? Do you ever read your posts?

Teams have adapted. That’s the hard thing about the show, you’ve got to adapt or die. The skill level is too high.

I am all for a change . I just don't want the flavor of the month. Gallant has been fired twice in a 2 year span so I would rather dig deeper and find an alternative.
