Would like to see Ivan removed from the PP.
Your best players need to play more minutes. Giroux at less than 17 shouldn't happen. - Striiker
I've been saying this since last season. He isn't a great PP QB. They should try Ghost there and see what happens. He had a lot of success with it in the past, so it couldn't hurt to try. |

Exactly who are they replacing Laughton with?
I feel the anger about the Hayes call is more about the timing of the call than the call itself. If the exact same sequence happened early in the 1st are you guys complaining about it as much? Probably not. - Pelle31Forever
100% the timing is what bothers me. Call a damn consistent game and don’t change how you want to call the game with 2 minutes left. Just absurd.
2 penalties over 50 minutes. Then 4 in the last 6-10 mins. That should say enough. |

I said to my dad last night that I think the team plays much better in front of Elliott than they do for Hart. Nothing about last night was about Hart. No own goals on Elliott. No spectacularly horrendous play in front of Elliott. - Scoob
This is exactly my thought. I can't put my finger on it, but there is just something different about this team when Moose is out there. Percentage wise, Moose has had seen almost the same number of shots against him per his minutes played and his GAA is 1.2 lower than Hart. There has to be something there. And if Coots doesn't get 8 million plus next contract, not sure what else he needs to do to prove how important he is to the team...I am glad to have been wrong on him as he continued to develop. It gives me patience in watching a lot of our young guys grow...unfortunately the D is going to lag well behind and we may be in a holding pattern until York and Zamula are ready to contribute. It is a strange period for the Flyers to be in, and a flat cap doesn't help at all. |

Laughton penalty - dumb
NAK - takes way too many penalties - Scoob
Lest we forget that NAK was the best skater on the ice last night for the Flyers. Physical, made a lot of smart plays with and without the puck, legs always churning. |

Agree. He was easily the only player skating in the first period. I thought he had a pretty good game last night.
That was one of the worst first periods I've seen, and they still escaped it only down a goal. They played a pretty good rest of the game, the penalties they took killed them. |

Fletcher said in an interview recently he speaks with Niskanen every 2 weeks or so.
He added it is possible to bring him back to the team in the event Nisky changes his mind. Although Niskanen is quite comfortable with his decision on retiring, maybe that change's in a few months.

Laughton seems to be very much a creature of emotion. I would argue most of his penalties occur when he's frustrated (though this may be the case league-wide). He was clearly upset last night before and even more so after taking the dumb penalty. I don't think he should sit because his positives outweigh his negatives but man...talk about some horrible timing. Whether the refs are calling it tight or not, he interfered. Hopefully a talking to by one of the coaches will suffice. |

Just an inexcusable lose after putting a solid effort for most of the night. Absolutely dumb...dumb penalty by Laughton and the one against Hayes was pretty weak in my opinion.
The Bruins are a good team, very good in fact, they played them well for most of the game. Still making steps in the right direction and collecting points along the way. It's a process, they're getting there. |

I blame peevish Jim Jackson. His obsessive whinging during broadcasts about officiating and how unjust it all is for the Flyers probably got back to the league offices and this is retaliation. When did peevish Jim Jackson become such an aggrieved loaded diaper?

That could be a nice deadline pick up haha. But with how whacky this season / year maybe nisky takes year off and comes back next with an itch to play |

NAK does take some bad penalties, but he seems to bring it every shift with high energy. I wish TK would take some of NAK'S energy ( like he used to ) - 3flyerkids
Imo he should’ve drew one or two himself last night. Got hit in the face with a stick even.
The penalty calling was weak.
Scott’s penalty was dumb yes, but the bruins got away with pretty much the same play a couple times that game. But is there a case for embellishment? That the guy just fell down then,,,,
Hayes before taking the penalty. Brad had a high hit along the boards that wasn’t called. Then holding his stick. Not saying I want it called. Just consistency.
And dear god. It’s not a 5 year old receiving. Pass the puck like you want it to get there. Move your feet. |

Yes they were. Ghost isn't the answer though they have zero other options at this point. Just seeing the trash on the bottom pair is a disgrace. Just a total waste and no need to waste 3 million on fake Gus. - login

Scratching the brain dead Laughton should be automatic. This guy shows flashes of brilliance and then goes on to do something stupid almost every game for years now. I love my Flyers but really this is one guy I despise most of the time. The dumb penalties should be on the coach and the players involved have to learn or be shipped out. This is a game that ruined great games by Hart, Sanheim, JVR was strong and Jake was good too. So frustrating watching same old. |

Let me think about it; maybe address the issue and cut your loses. Hagg and Gus both fn stink. Braun isnt much better though I rather have him over the other 2 stiffs.
Stop giving the coach an option to play them. |
