For the record, Gerard Gallant lives in Clinton PEI, if he were to be hired he wouldn’t be required to isolate IF he’s showing no flu like symptoms. He can fly inter-provincially for business purposes, which is deemed essential travel within Canada.

I haven't had time to read the article, but I do remember something that Doug Maclean said last year, while still with Sportsnet and being a fellow PEI boy.
He said that Gerard was in no rush to get back into coaching, right away, as he felt he had been screwed over on the last couple coaching gigs, by senior management.
Doug Maclean contract was renewed, shortly after that.
