No, he should really end up on the wing. However he's the most promising one they've got developing at the moment and I'd like them to see what they got in him after this year
- WhiteLie

Fair enough.
I think they have seen enough of him already and it is pretty obvious the guy is a liability.

I'm not keen on moving on from Gaudette just yet, especially with this team's lack of center's, but I like what DeBrusk brings. Wouldn't hate it

In my original post, I was only trying to make people aware that just because a bunch of cap is being cleared up, in the off-seasin, it is already spoken for, so expect to see some players at the bottom of the pay scale brought in.
It is also why they couldn't sign any of their own free-agents, unless the didn't trade for Schmidt.

It really depends next year on which version of Hughes and Petey you get. If they are only as good as this years version they both desrerve no more that 5 mil each. If you get lasts year version they are worth 7 mil.

The top line has stunk this year and they need to fix that. Last year they were a top 15 line and this year they are not in the top 50.

No, there's a constant level of accountability within hockey and between teammates. It's necessary. It's just right now it's come into more focus because of the way the team is losing. But trust me, I had a lot of talks with teammates on the ice and in the room after breakdowns. Some pretty intense in the heat of the battle. It's when those stop that it's time to worry.

- Load Management

If this was one or two bad games, I'd agree. I think for a stretch of this long, the frustration has been building up for someone new like Holtby to step up and say something speaks more to just the usual breakdown accountability talks for me

Gaudette isn’t a Center. He is a soft winger

Apparently, some of the guys really like this team having ample softness.

Definitely not a center . I don't think he will have a long career . His wife is cute and has a podcast so he can join her and build his online gaming business.

💯 - team soft smurf. Gaudette is also 24 so expecting improvements are unlikely

If we had last years version of both players the contracts would be huge. If they want to get paid with term then play like it and set the example.

The team has played like sh!t in front of him yes but Holtby also needs to step up and make a fu**cking save as well. Stop whining and set the example it's why he's here. Or, just roll with Demko and let him play through his issues and Holtby can watch from the sidelines. Either way, step the f*uck up.

Bieska wasn't wrong. Very soft club and no pushback. If it's one thing that's really aggravating this is it. Very disappointed in Bo so far this year. Looked like he was really coming into his own in PO's last year and now just another super soft Nucks Captain. when you are constantly down 2-0 or 3-0 make something happen FFS.

Jake is 6 weeks older than him, and everyone talks about how enough is enough with him, but, for some reason they want to give Gaudette chance after chance.

I am sure Barzal and Dubois wanted big money too. You can't draw blood from a stone. NHL borrowed 1 billion dollars this year to pay debts. It is what it is.

Not me . I am done with both and it is time to move Jake. I would take a second round pick for him and Gaudette a 7 th.

Very possible. Had high hopes for Gaudette and as discussed with NFU earlier in the year I really thought he would supplant Sutter at 3LC after a time but now we have to re-focus that position too.

Ya, I am disappointed in Bo also. He started the first 8-10 games off, really nice, now he is almost invisible, as is most of the team.

Let's not forget our D helping the Goalies. Demko let in 7 the game before. You wanna roll with that and shatter the kid's confidence for years?

I feel like something really bad/ funny may happen. Like a few of the snowflakes may give up halfway through the game and leave the ice
