But given that 2/3 of the 3rd line is being replaced today, and taking into account the score, i'm guessing Green didn't like what he saw and wanted some stronger defensive play today.

Beg's to wonder now what do they do with Pearson? I know most want him traded but considering some of the younger players just lost MArky, Tanev, Toffoli. It might not be a bad idea to re-sign him. I don't think they have said anything about the cap going back down in the coming years.

I think after another year or two he will probably move down to the 3rd line and play there.
