I know I said I didn't want to talk covid, but this one is mind boggling.

One of my contractors wife is a nurse at a government run extended care facility.

Last week a couple of nurses showed some symptoms, so they tested them all and send them all ALL BACK to work, (frank)ing ALL of them.

Two tested positive, and now there's an outbreak there.

So after basically a full (frank)ing year of this bullpoop, that's what they've learned??

These are the same smart people that are treating us like (frank)ing prisoners.

Ils étaient plus occupés à faire ça qu'essayer de trouver comment protéger les travailleurs et les client des CHSLD, de mettre en place des protocoles avec les tests rapides qui leur avaient été donné par le fédéral et ça m'écœurer un peu se volet là. Et leur gestion mamouth des hopitaux, leur centralisation des décisions sur une seule personne et leur incapacité a gérer les régions. C'est la réalité de Montréal partout au Québec ça d'lair.

They have alot of trouble using their own guidelines on their employees. Until recently there was some ministry with a zero work from home policy.. because they didn't have the tech in place for their employees.

A collegue of my girlfriend tested positive with no symptoms, they called public health.
Their answer was he didn't have any symptoms so he wasn't contagious.
They simply couldn't afford to delay surgeries to test everyone but they prefered to bullpoop an answer. But apparently they didn't put their immino-suppressed patient's life at all doing so.

but wasn't it already recognized that asymptomatic cases could unknowingly contaminate others?

on a hockey-related note, during the CAR-CLB game yesterday apparently CLB challenged a goal at the end of the 2nd period, the challenge was rejected and CLB got a 2 min penalty for delaying game... but between periods it was determined the play was indeed offside, so they canceled the PP, but they kept the goal on the scoreboard... wtf??

Buffalo fan shattered his glass house throwing stones, Covid rules are arbitrary and in some cases so stupid they're painful, youtube means different things to different people and with no game until Wednesday we're all prepping for the inevitable Danault and Price contract discussions to come

I'm doing pretty well for a Monday lol, it's a relatively quiet start to the week so far
