He started playing that way/tougher when they put him on the PK last year. Blocked a ton of shots last year too. I like how he's stepping up in the neutral zone to slow Matthews down - he's done it a few times already. Seems to know when to pinch too. Wish they would start giving him more of Schmidts shifts.
