Just read....TSN 1040 and 1150 radio stations eliminated.

They've been saying that this years draft could be pushed until next year and they will hold two drafts. Every kid drafted this year will be a year further developed and you will have a better idea of what kind of player they will be. 2021(draft in 2022) will be a special year for the draft IMO. Most kids drafted in the 1st round will be able to move right in to the NHL.

They need to get rid of the bad contracts, Sutter, Beagle, Roussel, Eriksson & Baertschi, two of those expiring this off-season, get some youth and speed on the team, basically start the process over again with someone that can actually build on the great youth they have.

The only way they can be successful with this group is if they outscore their defensive deficiencies AND get "all-world" goaltending OR play a Jacques Lemaire boring style trap game.

I think we will find a way to rid one of Roussell, Beagle, or Eriksson this off season. I think Eriksson buyout and trade one of the other two(don't think it will be expensive to dump either one). PodK will be the only new blood(maybe Lind/Rathbone) that makes the team next year as our draft pick this year will likely not be drafted until 2022 and will be a year further developed.
